Ricardo Quintana Quintero, 59, a second-generation coffee producer who joined ANEI in 2012, checks the state of some of his coffee plants. He joined for the benefits, especially the credits and loans program. Ricardo has received premium to implement a water processor/filter for coffee residual water.

  He states: "It has been a great blessing and privilege to be part of ANEI. They are like a family, and we all hope to get ahead and progress with them. We ask our buyers to continue supporting us with that extra money as it helps us improve our living standards. We will continue to make our best efforts to provide the highest quality coffee for you. Us campesinos are the ones who work the hardest, and at the end of the day, the ones who earn the least. So if you can improve the prices, that would be great for us."    ANEI is a Fair Trade Certified coffee cooperative founded in 1995.

SIGNATURE ROAST is roasted to the start of the second crack which brings out a rich coffee taste with some of its unique flavor characteristics.

DARK ROAST is roasted several seconds past the second crack which develops a deep, dark and intense coffee flavor and sugar caramelization, however the unique flavor notes are sacrificed.

ESPRESSO ROAST is roasted well past the second crack which brings out a powerful smoky coffee experience.  The coffee will appear more black than brown.
