Kyomugisha Joy and his family have been growing tea since 2007. He says that the biggest impact of selling Fair Trade Certified tea is that it has enabled him to send 2 of their children to school (her other 2 will attend when they are old enough).

He hopes to use future income to establish tea nurseries that will help expand tea growing opportunities for their community. He also wants to develop a nutrition program in the community teaching people how to start kitchen gardens that will help prevent malnutrition.
